This burger recipe will blow your mind! It’s absolutely delicious and not even that hard to make.

groene bonen burger

Here we go! What do you need?

  • 2 green-beanburgers from Vivera
  • 2 Italian buns (ready to eat or to bake at home)
  • 1 jellow bell pepper
  • 1 cucumber
  • 100 gram mushrooms
  • 1 red onion
  • some alfalfa
  • sesameseeds
  • tomato ketchup
  • olive oil (or another oil of choice)
  • pepper
  • cumin seeds
  • optional: jalopeno pepper

Bka the buns in the oven if they’re not ready to eat. I put mine in for less than 5 minuts on 375 degrees. Let them cool off a bit, before cutting them in half.

Cut the onion, bell pepper, cucumber and mushrooms into thin slices. Put them aside. Pour a few drops of olive oil into a hot pan and bake your burgers in a few minutes. When finished, place them on the bottom halves of the buns. Grill the onion and bell pepper seperately. When baking the mushrooms, add some freshly grounded pepper and a tiny pinch of cumin seeds. When done, put them aside.

Now you can start stacking already! I used the following arangement for my burgers: bottom half of the bun, burger, ketchup, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, jalopeno pepper, cucumber, sesameseeds and some alfalfa on top.

Bon apetit!
