Choices define integrity.

Turtles can’t possibly comprehend the mindset of a giraffe. That’s what makes the difference in this world. Both can be happy in their present mindset, yet only one can see the bigger picture.

In life there are choices: aim low and settle for mediocrity, drama and judgements or raise the bar for yourself and focus on excellence, love and nature’s beauty. Your behavior and the choices you make, speak so much louder than words. That’s a fact, not even up for discussion. If you talk the talk, you better walk the walk. Otherwise you will instantly lose credibility, respect and trustworthiness.

I personally believe that integrity is key. It will define you as a human being. It will make or break you.

Having integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way. It’s a personality trait that we admire, since it means a person has a moral compass that doesn’t waver. It literally means having “wholeness” of character, just as an integer is a “whole number” with no fractions. Physical objects can display integrity, too β€” if you’re going over a rickety old bridge that sways in the wind, you might question its structural integrity.
