I admire those who have little but give a lot. Those who are willing to share their last slice of bread with those who are hungry. Those who have so much on their minds but still manage to listen to others.
When you see the need of others, you need to be able to set your own problems aside. In no way does that need to happen at every occasion. There needs to be a balance. A healthy balance. A balance of not neglecting your own, and still being there for others when they need it. Even when they claim not to.
We live in a society that’s very selfish. Even inhumane. Where personal needs and wants go before the greater good. Be the difference we so desperately need. We all need it.
